Healthy Breakfasts: Recipes with Oats

Breakfasts with Oatmeal are an easy, healthy and energetic idea. We prepare it the night before and have a healthy and balanced breakfast the next day to which we can add fruits, other cereals and dairy products.

It's perfect for busy mornings as you can prepare individual servings ahead of time and take them on the go. It fills you up enough to last until lunch, it's made with simple ingredients like oats, chia seeds and yogurt...all healthy and natural!


This delicious breakfast is endlessly customizable, once you know how to make overnight oats you can try different ingredients like cocoa powder, vanilla extract, nuts, seeds and fresh fruit.....

How to make oatmeal the night before

Chia seeds give Oats a delicious thick and creamy, pudding-like texture and also add protein, fiber and healthy fats.

You can also add Greek yogurt, more protein, which makes the oatmeal even creamier.


Place the oats, the Chia seeds, the honey (optional), a "pinch" of salt and the yogurt (optional), in a container or jar with a lid.

Pour in the milk (almond, cow, soy...) and stir everything well to combine it evenly. You can add vegan protein... it will give you extra energy!

Make sure there are no chia seeds clumping around the bottom or sides of the jar.

Replace the lid and store overnight, or up to 5 days, in the refrigerator.

When ready to eat, stir the oats together and prepare to mix them with whatever ingredients you like.


Some ideas to enrich your oatmeal preparation

Oatmeal with "Apple Pie"

This variation is perfect for fall! Crush an apple and add a little cinnamon, add it to the oatmeal already prepared along with another apple cut into cubes and some nuts (almonds, pistachios, pecans... toasted

It tastes like apple pie!


Crunchy Oats with Peach.

Add to the oatmeal a sliced ​​peach, pecans and some granola grains...MMMMM delicious!


Oatmeal with Strawberries and Raspberries

It's a classic recipe! Add strawberries, raspberries, and a handful of crushed peanuts... The fresh strawberries and raspberries are delicious, and the roasted peanuts add the perfect crunch.


Oatmeal with Banana and Chocolate

To the prepared oatmeal, add cocoa powder, mashed banana, a little cinnamon and nutmeg for a rich chocolate banana bread flavor. On this preparation add half a banana in pieces, some nuts and some chocolate chips....WOW!!!


You can mix spices or protein powder into the oatmeal base, or experiment with seasonings such as fresh seasonal fruits, dried fruits, grated coconut, nuts, other seeds, be imaginative, there are a thousand possible combinations!
